'The Illusions of Power'

A short, self directed 3 minute film.

Focusing on optical illusions, my film explores how women's fashion has both empowered and restricted them throughout history.

This is represented through my transformative costume, made from cotton and plastic whalebone, which challenges first perceptions by creating a visual battle with the performer's movement.
